Greetings Members and Friends of the PORT,
Attached is the link to the November newsletter, which will be on our website soon.
November is here, which means it is time once again for our Holiday Bazaar! It's our 51st year. We can and should be very proud of the reputation our Bazaar has established in our community. So many people look forward to kick-starting their holiday season by coming to our event. They purchase a few new items to add to their holiday decor and run to the bake sale to find their favorite treats. Lynn has been personalizing ornaments for some families who are into their 3rd and 4th generation.
This year, more than ever, we truly need everybody's help. We've lost so many faithful members who worked so tirelessly on this labor of love every year. We are praying that everybody will step up to take a shift (or more!) to help us staff the sale. It's very easy to do, and you can be seated or standing. No money handling will be involved, as we have a central cashier. Please read all the details on page 3, or call the church office and Lori will be happy to answer any questions. Thank you all in advance for your hard work and support.
Pastor Steve's article is on page 2, and it's filled with exciting happenings at The PORT, as well as some requests and ways we can be of more help to our neighbors in need. It's an excellent message.
We have many things happening in November, so don't miss the other articles throughout this newsletter for all of the details. And join us for worship as we have five special Sundays planned this month, which you will see on the calendar.
We hope you and your family will have a safe and blessed Thanksgiving, and we hope to see you very soon at The PORT!
