Greetings Members and Friends of The PORT,

Happy spring! Attached you will find a link to the May Portlight, and it will soon be available on our website as well. We hope you and your families had a blessed Holy Week and Easter. We had some beautiful and moving worship services here at The PORT. You'll find several photos of the weeks' events on pages 4 and 5 of this newsletter. 

As we enter the month of May we will begin with the annual spring cleaning of our church and grounds on Saturday, May 3, from 9am to 12pm. Everyone is invited to help us with this huge job. Bring your work gloves and join in! Refreshments will be provided.  

We'll be wrapping up the Sunday School program year with our traditional Great Day of Music on Sunday, May 18th. We hope you will come and bring your friends and families to enjoy lots of music and singing as our PORT members and musical groups will fill the service with songs of worship and praise. We are also planning a dedication in memory of our beloved Dale Miller who was our organist for 50 years. You won't want to miss it!

Pastor Steve has been leading us in Bible Study on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm. They are very informal and full of conversation as we go deeper into the scripture readings from the previous Sunday. We're learning so much about the Bible. Please consider dropping in for one or more of these wonderful gatherings while Pastor Steve is with us. He plans to continue the Bible Studies through the end of June, when his interim leadership will come to an end. Thank you, Pastor Steve.

As you can see, there are many opportunities to reconnect with our church family and friends this spring. We look forward to seeing you very soon at The PORT!
