News From The PORT Message
Greetings Members and Friends of The PORT,
September is upon us - how did it come so fast? The schools are starting again, and the routines of another church year are getting into the swing as well. We are ready to welcome back everybody on Sunday, 9/13 for our "Back to Church" Sunday. You can learn more about this in Pastor Steve's letter on page 2.
On page 4, Mission Outreach shares an update about the success of the VEAP Birthday Cake Kits that were donated from July, and you can get into the mindset of the Holiday Bazaar, which is just over 2 months away, by reading the article on page 5.
Finally, on page 6, please read the article from Pastor Steve about Wesleyan Small Groups. This was a big takeaway from his Pilgrimage in Great Britain, and he is presenting the idea of introducing small groups to The PORT in 2027.
We hope this summer gave you some time to relax and recharge. We greatly look forward to seeing everybody back in church this fall. Blessings to you and yours!
